GRC’s National Lab Day
 

Project Description

GRC’s National Lab Day is geared to inspire students to become interested in the STEM fields by participating in research facility tours, hands-on activities, a career showcase, astronaut briefing, STEM related demonstrations and other activities which are age level appropriate.

This field trip is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Participation Requirements

  1. Students and chaperones must be U.S. Citizens
  2. Student participants are in grades 4th – 12th
  3. 20-25 students per class with chaperone (s)
  4. Schools must provide transportation to and from NASA Glenn Research Center
  5. Schools’ transportation must be available for the duration of the field trip to transport students
  6. Arrive at NASA GRC no later than 9:30 a.m. and participate in the entire program until 2:00 p.m.
  7. Schools will provide student lunches

NOTE: Only 1 class per school will be selected on a first come first basis to expand diversity among schools.
