General Assistance and Volunteer Programs

Many local non-profit organizations, civic groups, and faith-based groups are seeking donations of time, personal items, and financial contributions to assist those affected by Hurricane Ike. Lists of assistance and volunteer opportunities can be found through local news organization websites and local government websites. Individuals interested in supporting recovery efforts may also access a collection of volunteer opportunities on the Space Center Volunteers website at http://www.bayareahouston.com/Home/AerospaceInitiatives/SpaceCenterVolunteers/.
