Last Shuttle Shuffle

Space shuttles Endeavour and Atlantis are parked nose-to-nose for a brief photo opportunity. The shuttles were switching locations as Endeavour backed out of Bay 2 of the Orbiter Processing Facility and Atlantis moved out of the Vehicle Assembly Building.

Endeavour is undergoing final preparations for its cross-country ferry flight targeted for mid-September where it will be on public display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Atlantis will be displayed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
