As an adapter ring designed for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) is machined at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., Spacecraft & Payload Integration Subsystem Manager Brent Gaddes, left, Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle to Stage Adapter (MSA) Lead Designer Patrick Hull and MSA Manufacturing Lead Myron Tapscott discuss the intricate design work going into the SLS.
