NASA SPONSORING SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE ON DEC. 1-2

   NASA and the Ozark Heritage Region, Southern Missouri, will 
sponsor a 2-day conference to provide information to minority 
and women-owned businesses interested in contracting 
opportunities with NASA, its prime contractors and other 
government agencies.  The conference will take place on Dec. 
1-2, 1993, at the Civic Center, West Plains, Mo. 

   Entitled "The Missouri/NASA Procurement Conference", the 
event will feature representatives from over 50 NASA prime 
contractors and federal agencies.  NASA procurement officials 
also will be available to meet individually with conference 
participants to discuss NASA's procurement policies and plans.
   
   In addition, the conference will include speakers and panel 
workshops on topics such as "Doing Business with NASA", 
"Technology Transfer and Small Business Innovation Research", 
"Quality and Reliability", "How to Sell to the Government and 
Prime Contractors", "Proposal Preparation for the Government 
and Private Sector" and many more.
