Mike Kostelnik, Deputy Associate Administrator for International Space Station and Space Shuttle Programs, will brief the media about the Space Shuttle Life Extension Program (SLEP) Summit on Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m. EST in the James Webb Auditorium, NASA Headquarters, 300 E Street SW, Washington.Plans to maintain and upgrade the Space Shuttle fleet are off to a good start, following the first Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) Summit held this week at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility near New Orleans, La.
The briefing will be carried live on NASA Television, with two-way question-and-answer capability for reporters at participating NASA centers. NASA TV is broadcast on satellite AMC-2, transponder 9C, C band, and 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical and audio is monaural at 6.8 MHz.
