(Phone: 256/544-6535) NOTE TO EDITORS: 04-057 GRAVITY PROBE B LAUNCH POSTPONED FOR 24 HOURS The launch of NASA's Gravity Probe B spacecraft aboard a Boeing Delta II rocket has been scrubbed for 24 hours. A hold was called approximately three minutes before lift off, after it was determined there was insufficient time to confirm before launch the correct wind profile had been loaded aboard the Delta II based on the data from the final weather balloon. The team was waiting on this final weather balloon data due to marginal upper level wind conditions that were observed throughout the countdown. The launch is scheduled for 12:57:24 p.m. EDT on Tuesday. NASA TV launch coverage on Tuesday begins at 10:45 a.m. EDT. NASA TV is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
