NASA ANNOUNCES SPACE STATION BRIEFING

NASA managers at the Johnson Space Center, Houston will brief media 
about the International Space Station (ISS) mission at 2 p.m. EST, 
Thursday, Feb. 17. The briefing will be live on the Web and NASA TV. 
Reporters will be able to ask questions from participating NASA 
centers. 

Briefing participants: 

Mark Geyer, ISS Manager for Operations and Integration 
Annette Hasbrook, Expedition 10 Lead Flight Director 
Dr. Don Thomas, ISS Program Scientist


Expedition 10 Commander and NASA Station Science Officer Leroy Chiao 
and Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov, are expecting the arrival of a 
Russian cargo spacecraft in early March. The crew is in the fourth 
month of their six-month mission. They have completed one of two 
planned spacewalks and continue scientific research. 

NASA TV is available on the Web and via satellite in the continental 
U.S. on AMC- 6, transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. 
The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is 
monaural at 6.80 MHz. In Alaska and Hawaii, NASA TV is on AMC-7, 
Transponder 18C, C-Band, at 137 degrees west longitude. The frequency 
is 4060.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 
6.80 MHz.
