Griffin's Statement on the Retirement of Langley's Roy Bridges
NASA Administrator Mike Griffin issued the following statement today upon the announcement that Roy Bridges, director of NASA's Langley Research Center, will retire from NASA.
"Roy Bridges has spent a lifetime in the service of his country, much of it with NASA. As both an astronaut and a center director, he has met all challenges, in good times and bad, with courage and competence. He will be missed by the entire NASA community."
