ITEM 1:    NASA KEEPS AN EYE ON HURRICANE BONNIE
NASA flew a DC-8 aircraft into the eye of Hurricane Bonnie on 
August 23, 1998.  NASA has joined forces with NOAA in a first-ever 
coordinated effort to study the eye of a hurricane.  The focus of 
this study is to learn more about the strength and direction of 
hurricanes.
