ITEM 1:    NEURAL NETWORK CHIP TO ASSIST AUTO INDUSTRY
    Footage shows the neural network chip being tested in a Ford laboratory and a Ford automobile.  NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory conducted the advanced research on this new computer chip and has transferred the technology to Ford.

ITEM 2:    NEW 3-D RADAR TO MAP THE EARTH
    B-roll of the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission which is scheduled to fly in September 1999.  The radar will create a 3-dimensional map of the Earth.
