NASA To Sign Chesapeake Ecosystem Unified Plan

     NASA will sign the Federal Agencies' Chesapeake 
Ecosystem Unified Plan at Fort McNair in Washington, DC, on 
November 5, 1998.  NASA will be among 26 federal agencies 
asked to sign the plan to strengthen the partnership between 
the agencies and the EPA Chesapeake Bay Program.  The 
Chesapeake Bay Program has been a model for watershed 
management and interagency cooperation for 15 years.  The 
Federal partners within the Bay Program have been playing an 
increasingly important role in the past few years and are 
continuing with that effort.
