STS-95 Crew to Return to Celebration in Houston on Sunday

Following the completion of their nine-day space flight, the STS-95 astronauts will return 
to a heroes' welcome, open to the public, on Sunday, Nov. 8. The ceremony is planned for 
shortly after 1 p.m. EST at Ellington Field near the Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston,

* News Briefings on STS-88, Mars Mission set for Nov. 13.

A series of background briefings on the upcoming STS-88 mission--the first Space Shuttle 
flight for assembly of the International Space Station--and on NASAšs next missions to

* Hawthorne Report Released

Hawthorne, Krauss, and Associates, LLC, has submitted its Analysis of Potential 
Alternatives  to Reduce NASA's Cost of Human Access to Space --The Hawthorne Report 
--to NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin.  NASA will use the Hawthorne report, along 
with the Space Transportation Architecture Study (when complete), as a road map for its 
future space flight requirements. The report is available online at:
