The complete report will be available electronically this afternoon. In September 1997, NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin asked Jay Chabrow to establish a task force for the independent review and assessment of costs, budgets and partnership performance on the International Space Station program and to provide advice and recommendations to the NASA Advisory Council. The objective of this activity was to provide advice and recommendations for cost-effective modifications to the present business structure and cost management practices of the program, and to determine the total cost over the life of the program.
