FUTURE OF SPACE TELESCOPE SCIENCE INSTITUTE 
TO BE ANNOUNCED AT PRESS BRIEFING JUNE 8

       NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin and Maryland 
Senator Barbara Mikulski will make an announcement on the 
future of the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in 
Baltimore at a press conference on Monday, June 8, at the 
Institute.  

       The press conference will begin at 10 a.m. EDT in the 
STScI auditorium (Steven Muller Bldg.), 3700 San Martin Dr., 
on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus, Baltimore.  

     Media representatives planning to attend should call 
Cheryl Gundy at 410/338-4707 by 5 p.m. Friday, June 5, to be 
registered for press credentials.
