PORTIONS OF NASA ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

     On October 9, NASA announced through the Federal 
Register a closed meeting of the Agency's Advisory Council, 
known as the NAC, to be held October 16 and 17 at NASA 
Headquarters in Washington.

The meeting has been rescheduled for October 16 only and will 
be open to the public and media representatives from 8 a.m. 
to approximately 12 p.m. EDT. An afternoon session will be 
closed.

The meeting will be held in room 7H46 (MIC-7) at NASA 
Headquarters, 300 E Street, SW, Washington, DC, 20546.

The open sessions of the meeting will discuss the Agency's 
Strategic Resources Review and explain why the review is 
being conducted, and its objectives.

Due to increased security measures at NASA Headquarters, 
please contact Kathy Dakon at 202/358-0732 if you plan to 
attend the meeting. She may also be contacted for additional 
information about the NAC.
