Ares Tells Its Story At Development Motor 1 Test
The team also posted behind-the-scenes video for DM-1 to YouTube and Ares web sites and broadcast the DM-1 static test firing attempt on August 25, as well as the live firing conducted on September 10. The DM-1 news release, photos, videos, and live-streaming videos were posted to the Constellation, Ares, Marshall Newsroom sites, and YouTube, and photos were distributed to Flickr.

The Ares outreach team traveled to Utah for the originally scheduled test firing of Development Motor 1 on August 25. Despite the test being postponed due to a technical problem with ground support equipment, the outreach team was able to share the Ares story with over 8,000 people.
