    Kenneth Bowersox served as commander of Expedition 6 and conducted two spacewalks during his 5-1/2 month stay aboard the Intenrational Space Station. He also participated as a crew member on four previous space shuttle missions.

    Flight Engineer Nikolai Budarin

    Nikolai Budarin served as flight engineer during Expedition 6. He launched with his crewmates aboard space shuttle Endeavour and returned to Earth aboard the Soyuz TMA-1. Budarin also lived and worked aboard the Russian Space Station Mir during two missions.
