    Commander Yuri Malenchenko

    Yuri Malenchenko served as commander of Expedition 7. He also participated during Expedition 16 as flight engineer. He previously served as a mission specialist during STS-106 and lived and worked aboard Russian Space Station Mir.

  • Flight Engineer Ed Lu

    Flight Engineer Ed Lu

    Ed lu served as flight engineer for Expedition 7 and was the first American to serve as flight engineer of a Soyuz spacecraft (Soyuz TMA-2). Lu also served as a mission specialist for two previous space shuttle missions and visited the Russian Space Station Mir.
