Astronauts Join Chieftains, Houston Symphony on Stage

JSC2013-E-011415 (15 Feb. 2013) --- This panoramic scene inside Houston’s Jones Hall represents the variegated participation of a number of musical groups and the general public (mostly in darkness on left) on Feb. 15. The Irish musical group The Chieftains joined the Houston Symphony and other musicians during the band's 50th anniversary concert tour in Houston. NASA astronaut and amateur flutist Cady Coleman (in blue flight jacket on stage) joined the Irish musical group, along with Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield (seen on elevated screen), thanks to a pre-recorded message.
