Astronaut Cady Coleman Joins Chieftains on Stage

JSC2013-E-011426 (15 Feb. 2013) --- From left, Paddy Maloney, Matt Malloy, both of the Irish band Chieftains, and astronaut Cady Coleman perform on stage at Jones Hall with the Houston Symphony during the band's Feb. 15 stop on its 50th anniversary concert tour. Among other participants in the event was Expedition 34 Flight Engineer Chris Hadfield, whose image and pre-recorded message onboard the International Space Station in Earth orbit were displayed on an elevated screen (out of frame) in the Hall. Hadfield, with the Canadian Space Agency, along with NASA astronauts Coleman and Dan Burbank (out of frame) are amateur musicians who share their talents with various astronaut-related musical groups.
