Instrument Deck Installed on MMS Observatory #2

Image below: Installation of instrument deck is complete on MMS Observatory #2, the second of four observatories being assembled in the special MMS cleanroom at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

MMS Observatory #2 will remain at Goddard during the next several months while engineers and technicians integrate additional flight hardware and conduct necessary functional and environmental tests.
