Magnetic Field Investigation of Mars by Interacting Consortia
[Students Higher Education]
Magnetic Field Investigation of Mars by Interacting Consortia, or MIMIC, is a piggyback microsatellite designed, built, tested and operated by students. Sponsored by National Space Grant, this project will produce a flight system intended to collect scientific data as a supplement to a primary Mars mission. The science objectives are to characterize the Martian remanent magnetic field and to characterize the solar wind interactions with Mars.
