NASA Explorer Schools Professional Development Opportunities

NES offers 90-minute live professional development Web seminars throughout the year in support of many classroom lessons found on the Virtual Campus. These highly informative seminars are delivered in partnership with the National Science Teachers Association. Each interactive seminar provides a lesson overview, review of support materials, the NASA connection and lesson extensions.

Participation in a session requires a computer connected to the Internet. For audio, you must have either a headset with a microphone connected to the computer or simultaneous access to a telephone capable of calling a toll-free telephone number.

Registered NES educators may attend as many professional development Web seminars as they would like and earn Continuing Education Units awarded by Oklahoma State University. For more information visit the CEU Webpage .
