In celebration of National Women's History Month, students in grades 5-12 were invited to watch and participate in a live webchat with a panel discussing NASA careers.

A panel of four outstanding women at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., answered questions submitted by students during the chat. These women shareed their high school background, higher education path and guidance they received that led them to where they are today at NASA.

The panel includes:

• Julie Williams-Byrd is an electro-optics engineer who is on a team that works with technologies enabling human spaceflight exploration to a variety of destinations.
• Kimberly Land is a the communications, education and public outreach manager for the Earth System Science Pathfinder Program, a flight project program that sends satellites into space to observe Earth and also do aircraft monitoring and measurements to study air quality.
• Lindsay Rogers is a resources management analyst with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
• Judith Watson is a senior research engineer with the Exploration Technology Development and Demonstration Program where she is working to develop inflatable structures and radiation shielding protection.
